County-Paid Life Insurance
The County of Kern provides Life Insurance to Management employees, Confidential employees and employees represented by the Kern County Prosecutors Association (KCPA) and Central California Association of Public Employees (CCAPE). The benefit for Management is one
times annual salary, limited to $50,000. Confidential Employees, Deputy District Attorneys, and CCAPE employees receive 1/2 times annual salary, limited to $10,000. Management/Confidential employees and KCPA members may purchase matching coverage through this program by contacting the CAO - Health Benefits Division.
Optional - Payroll Deductible Life Insurance
New York Life

Guaranteed Issue Life Insurance
