| Membership Qualifications: |
Five members who are qualified by experience and training to pass upon
matters pertaining to building construction. |
| Term: |
Four-year staggered term. |
| Duties: |
Board of Building Appeals shall resolve all questions relating to the
suitability of alternate materials and methods of construction arising
under this title and shall determine reasonable interpretations of the
provisions of the Code of Building Regulations, except interpretation and
appeals taken under the House Code, and shall make recommendations to the
Board of Supervisors concerning new legislation consistent with its function. |
