Health & Safety Code Section 2242: each member
appointed by governing body of city shall be an elector of the city and
a resident of that portion of city which is within the District. Health
& Safety Code Section 2243: each member appointed from a county or
portion of a county shall be an elector of the county and a resident of
that portion of the county which is within the District.

Two-year term. |
| Duties: |
The primary objective shall be the progressive elimination
of mosquito-breeding places, the objective to be accomplished by an educational
service on control measures, performing services of temporary relief control,
establishing projects of source reduction, using abatement procedure methods
when necessary, and by general policy of cooperation. |
