Established by Board of Supervisors Minute Order
of February 14, 1967 pursuant to Government Code Section 31000.1 and Public
Resources Code Section 8551, et seq. Reestablished by Board Minute Order
of March 17, 1981. |
| Membership Qualifications: |
Five members duly elected by lessees of publicly
owned lands in Section 3 under management of the Bureau of Land Management. |
| Term: |
Three-year term. |
| Duties: |
To make recommendations to Farm and Home Advisors
Office and to the Board of Supervisors pursuant to disbursements of revenues
allocated to the County of Kern for range improvement. |
| Meeting Place and Time: |
At the call of the Chairperson. |
| Compensation: |
Members shall serve without compensation but necessary
expenses incurred in connection with meetings shall be allowed and paid. |
| Ethics Training: |
Pursuant to State law, on or after January 1, 2006, any person newly appointed shall successfully complete a course
in ethics training approved by the Fair political Practices Commission and Attorney General. Each
member is required to complete this training every two years. |
