Established by Board of Supervisors Resolution No. 69-387 of June 9,
1969 pursuant to Sections 2200 et seq. of the California Health & Safety
Code. |
| Membership Qualifications: |
Five Members appointed by the Board of Supervisors from electors residing
within the South Fork Mosquito Abatement District. |
| Term: |
Two-year term. |
| Duties: |
The primary objective shall be the progressive Elimination of mosquito-breeding
places, the objective to be accomplished by an educational service on control
measures, performing services of temporary relief control, establishing
projects of source reduction, using abatement procedure methods when necessary,
and by general policy of cooperation. |
| Meeting Place and Time: |
Weldon Methodist Church, scheduled as needed at 7:00 P.M. |
| Compensation: |
Members shall serve without compensation. |
| Ethics Training: |
Pursuant to State law, on or after January 1, 2006, any person newly appointed shall successfully complete a course
in ethics training approved by the Fair political Practices Commission and Attorney General. Each
member is required to complete this training every two years. |
