The Public Swimming Pool Program is responsible for the inspection of all public swimming pools, spa pools and special purpose pools in Kern County, to ensure they are built, maintained and operated in compliance with state and local laws.
The Public Swimming Pool Program conducts plan reviews and approvals of all public pools prior to their construction, alteration or renovation. All plans are reviewed to ensure compliance with appropriate state and local laws and regulations.
