From roof replacements to new, large-scale capital projects, Construction Services manages your project every step of the way. Approximately 50% of county construction projects are designed in-house; with the remainder developed by private-sector architects and engineers - under the supervisor of Construction Services staff.

State law mandates that projects with a cost of more than $10,000 be classified as Public Works Projects. Such projects fall under Construction Services and are subject to public works statutes and prevailing wage guidelines. This fact must be kept in mind when departments consider a remodeling or new construction project.
