SUPERVISOR PATRICK ANNOUNCED THAT SHE AND SUPERVISOR PARRA WILL BE REPRESENTING THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT SUBCOMMITTEE AT THE GOVERNOR'S SUMMIT ON TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 30, 1999.

SUPERVISOR PARRA FURTHER DISCUSSED THE GOVERNOR'S SUMMIT AND THAT OTHER COMMITTEES WILL ALSO BE PRESENT TO DISCUSS TRANSPORTATION, AGRICULTURE, AIR, WATER, AND EDUCATION. SUPERVISOR PARRA THANKED SUPERVISOR PATRICK FOR HER WORK AS CO-CHAIR ON THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT SUBCOMMITTEE.

SUPERVISOR PETERSON COMMENDED SUPERVISORS PATRICK AND PARRA FOR SERVING ON THE SUBCOMMITTEE. HE STATED HE ATTENDED THE PUBLIC MEETING AT EARL WARREN JR. HIGH SCHOOL LAST EVENING REGARDING THE DAIRY ISSUE WHICH WILL BE HEARD ON DECEMBER 7, 1999.

SUPERVISOR PEREZ THANKED SUPERVISORS PATRICK AND PARRA FOR THEIR WORK REGARDING THE GOVERNOR'S SUMMIT AND REQUESTED A BRIEFING ON THE SUMMIT. WITH REGARD TO THE DAIRY ISSUE, HE STATED HE HAS RECEIVED MANY CALLS FROM HIS CONSTITUENTS, APPRECIATES HEARING FROM THEM, AND LOOKS FORWARD TO DISCUSSION ON DECEMBER 7, 1999.
