LPS Conservatorship provides a conservatorship for the person and/or estate of an individual determined by the court to be "gravely disabled" due to a mental health disorder, a severe substance use disorder, or a co-occurring mental health disorder and a severe substance use disorder. Services provided by the LPS Conservatorship include:

  • Court-appointed decision maker
  • Assure needed treatment is provided
  • Protect the person and/or personal assets
  • Act on behalf of the individual
  • Determine the appropriate level of care
