Background and Purpose of the Kern County Foundation

The Kern County Foundation was established in 2015 as a 501(c)3 charitable foundation as a way for the public to donate to projects, programs, public works and beautification efforts that benefit the community. Donations to the Kern County Foundation are tax-deductible and can be designated by the donor(s) for a specific purpose. Another option is to allow the Foundation to decide which purpose will be best served by your donation.
