Development
The Rural Economic Development Loan and Grant programs provide funding
for rural projects through local utility organizations. USDA provides
zero-interest loans to local utilities which they, in turn, pass through
to local businesses (ultimate recipients) for projects that will create
and retain employment in rural areas.
State Small Business Credit Initiative - CA IBank
The State Small Business Credit Initiative (SSBCI) was originally
created through federal legislation - the Small Business Jobs Act of
2010. The program is designed to help states address the challenges
small businesses face in securing financing.
California Office of Small Business Advocate
The California Office of the Small Business Advocate (CalOSBA) supports economic growth by providing resources and support to the state's 4.1 million small businesses, including non-profits and startups.
