Fleet Services plays a vital role within the County of Kern, offering a wide range of vehicle-related services to support various County departments. Fleet Services is primarily responsible for:

• Purchasing, maintaining, and repairing hundreds of vehicles—including sedans, trucks, vans, and department-specific units.
• Performing preventive maintenance and repair services to reduce the need for outsourcing.
• Managing the County’s commercial fuel program.
• Providing vehicle utilization and cost reports to County departments.

Fleet Services’ official address is 1415 Truxtun Avenue; however, its physical location is situated behind the Kern County Superior Courthouse.
